Monarch Backcountry?

I'm headed to Monarch tomorrow with a buddy and were both experienced backcounty users and I am looking for some info on the backcountry or "sidecountry" as some like to put it. We're very experienced with direction finding and avalanche avoidance so were looking for some areas that we would be able to drop from the resort and end up back on the road. Any info would be awesome. Thanks.

Look at a map. It's not that difficult to figure out.

Mirkwood basin has some decent terrain if your looking to do a little skinning/hiking, your choice since it's a cat track
