Who has a roof top tent?

I've been looking at the tepui RTT for my jeep and suburban. They look sweet and dry/clean. Any one rolling with this setup? They are big in Africa and Australia due to the fact your off the ground and away from critters/snakes/bugs. Bears don't care though if your on a car or not. That's why you need a roof top .50 cal.

RTT

I have a camping lab and it has worked well. Put it on top of my Tacoma and the boat and gear filled the bed on long drives. Your friends will be jealous. Very comfortable and stayed dry during a couple heavy rain storms.

I love my tent

I have one mounted on an adventure trailer. Its is about the size of a queen sized bed, it is great because I can always set it up flat and level. We can camp for weeks on end and always get the same nights rest. No rocks or roots poking in our backs. They are not that great in the wind but are worth it at the end of the day.

Im planning on welding up an offroad trailer for this spring to stuff my boat in and mount the rtt on. It will open up some room in the jeep (yj) for my wife and baby boy. Ill need to work on rolling up the Maravia though, she's a bit of a pig to roll.I rolled it up for travel once and it took up the entire rear space of my Cherokee with just enough room for the dog on top.

chaser

Mine is a Chaser model made by the brand AdventureTrailers. I bought it used and have spent over 100 nights in it in the last four years.

We build the aluminium parts for adrenalin campers. They are easily the best quality trailer that i have ever seen for off road use. Quality everywhere. Check out their web site adrenalincampers.com

Those look nice but pricey. I'm going to go with more of a m416 style trailer. I have been looking for a jeep tub but they are expensive new and near impossible to find used. Jeep is making a sweet offroad camper for 10k but that would be silly to buy one when I can make one. I'll post some pics when I get started.
