White Streaks on Jacks tubes

I picked up a set of 18' JPW tubes at the DRE sale this weekend and used a cleaning product Mike (Owner of DRE) recommended called SeaPower. You can see the difference an hours' work made on these tubes! The question is, What are the white streaks? I'm guessing sun spots, but I'm really not sure. Any body have any thoughts?
Thanks!

Sun

Wow, what a difference a little elbow grease can make, the tubes look great. It looks like you have a bit of sun fade going on on the tubes. It looks pretty superficial in the pic and I would not bee too concerned. That said I would recommend using 303 on the tubes regularly and if you plan to store the boat outdoors get a cover. A large car cover from walmart is an effective and inexpensive way to keep your boat out of direct sunlight. Congrats on the new rig.

Without brown streaks how would kayakers be able to know which way their underwear goes on?

Thanks Tony,
Definitely been 303'd! And, yep, they'll be out of the sun from now on. I spoke to Jack and they think it's sun-related, but since no flaking or peeling and no fabric showing, they said they wouldn't be concerned. Now to the frame mods!
See you on the river
