Tables

Im in the market for a new table for camp. Space is a little bit of an issue, so a large wooden camp counter would not work out. I have used the roll top tables before and think they are great, but would prefer to not spend $90. Any thoughts on a good table?

how about $69, roll-a-stuff is usually cheapest here:
my rolly table is 14 years old and going strong.

I think Mari meant Steep and Cheap steepandcheap.com - I've been seeing the rollaway aluminum tables for 48.99 lately.

I think we bought our roll-up table at Target, and it was not much at all. It's not rubber coated, but it is aluminum. Didn't buy it originally for rafting, but have used it for that and it's no different than the more expensive tables once you spread all your crap out on it! REI also carries these kinds of tables, and I've seen them on sale occassionally for pretty cheap.

I have the REI Camp Roll Table and love it. Plus if you have a dividend you can get money back. It's only $49.50.

second the roll-a-table. we use ours a lot for general camping, river trips, at elk camp, etc. works great for us.

Topside Table/Side Deck by | 4CORNERS RIVERSPORTS

A friend of mine makes these, tripple function and uses little space when rigged on your frame.

REI Outlet has a good deal on XL Alps tables:

ALPS Mountaineering Dining Table - X Large - Special Buy at REI-OUTLET.com

We picked one of these up last year and have no complaints. No cross-bars underneath so you can sit at the table and it comes w/ REI lifetime guarantee...
