storing a drytop

My husband and I just bought drytops. Mine is too big but fits him perfectly. Will it last for a couple of years being un-used or will the gaskets get brittle. Is there anything we could do to store it properly. Thanks.

Im assuming he has one that fits but eventually when that one wears out he'll have a fresh one. I would think the gaskets would last pretty long in a closet if it was brought along on trips as an extra and it was seeing sun, water and oxygen the I'd be worried about the gaskets.

Storing inside the house where it is warmer (instead of in the garage) during the winter really seems to make a difference too.
