Standard Cat Frame "Drop"

Whats the standard drop/depth for a cat frame?

The NRS universal drop rails are 8", I cant remember if the yokes are 10" or 12".

Thanks

Drawings are on nrsweb. You can order the universal drops in whatever depth or angle yow want. Its a nominal special order fee

Thx avatard. I was making a new frame for my big cat after repurposing my exhisting drop rails to a different frame.

I settled on 9.5" which is going to seem spacious compared to 8".

Cut & drilled, done & done.

NRS Universal drops are 10 inches, and yokes are 11.5 inches according to the specs on their website. As Avatard said, they will do custom depth on the Universals. I talked with them about this a few months ago, but I can't remember what the up charge was. I don't think it was much. They will also do custom lengths on the Universal drops.

I think they do a 90 down to about 9" and then start reducing the angle below that point. The sport cat frames are 45 degrees, i think. That leads me to believe there bend radius is about 7". I wonder if they could bend the universal drops to 135 which would give you flat drop rails all the way to under the crossbars. From the side it would have a "snub" underhang but this might be beneficial from a frame rigging standpoint and ot maximizing a drop in floor
