small and light IK/packraft topoff pump

Looking to find a good small topoff pump for hiking-in trips with my Aire Expedition BakRaft. Not looking for a pump to inflate the boat, just top it off. Looking for the best smallest, lightest pump for this purpose. What you got for recommends?

This is what I use to fill it, works great, super light, very fast and can blow up an expedition BakRaft more than 4 times on one charge, and can also be used to deflate, which is really helpful for trips where you have to roll the boat tightly at the end to get back in the back at the end to hike back out. One of the adapters that comes with it fits the expedition valve perfectly.

I don't know of anything smaller or lighter than the K60 kpump. it's what I take when I fly, and fits in a watershed ocoee.

theboatpeople used to sell a smaller pump, a metal cylinder held together with bike spokes. maybe old mil surplus?

maybe you could find one of those used?

it is nice to have the mouth valve on the alpackas to avoid the need for the topoff pump.

no idea, I'll take a video this week of the inflation of an IK with this pump and post it.

Don't see a K60 on K-pump's website, the google doesn't find it either.

Maybe they renamed it the "mini"?

The lightest model on K-pumps webpage is the K-pump mini 3"x15" 1 lbs

The boat people has a model that is 8.5" long at 1.8 lbs

Looks kind of cheesy, but about 1/2 the weight of the ones you just listed

I use the K-Pump Mini for hike in trips with the BakRaft:

We've had to repair enough the BakRafts in the field that I'm a fan of a versatile, bomber pump even if it adds a bit of weight.

I have a rubber bellows pump that is Russian mil-surplus. When stored compressed it is roughly 2" thick and about 6.5" in diameter. Pumps a surprising amount of air and despite being probably 30 years old, the rubber looks new still.

I have several of the larger K Pumps and got good service from them. Now boating IK's and purchased a mini K Pump that is pretty small just for topping off the IK. Did a check of raft pumps and that mini has developed a hair line crack in the tip that made it virtually useless as air leaked out when pumping. Emailed K Pumps some months ago and so far no response. I take care of my river gear and the mini was not abused mostly just carried on the IK just in case.

I am looking at the boat people model and will order one before next boating season starts. but that little Giga unit is on my buy list for my air sleeping pads just because it looks like a neat little gadget.
