ShredReady Shaggy vs Tdub

I have an older Shaggy that I like but I'm looking to replace it. I was told in a local store that the Tdub was "really big" and wouldn't fit my head (22 1/2"). The Shaggy fits my head just fine with the L shims. None of the stores around me have a Tdub in stock so I'm going to have to just order online.

The question is, is the Tdub really "for bigger heads" like the guy at the store told me, or is it like the description on the site says and pretty much a Shaggy but with 3/4" more coverage around the rim? Will the extra 3/4" around the rim make it sit too low on my small head?

I was thinking of just going with what I know works and getting another Shaggy, but felt that since they're the same price, the extra coverage of the Tdub may be better?

Same thing

I'm pretty sure it's the same helmet. The T-Dub is a Shaggy with an inch further drop added to the outside rim of the helmet. The fit portion around the head would be no different. The Kudzu is their big head helmet.

Call Tom at Shred Ready on Monday.
