I usually just use a 2 part epoxy for anything that needs to be permanently glued. If its going to be a spot where it flexes I'll use a flexible epoxy. Or guerrilla glue is also another good option if it needs to flex and still hold but won't see super high forces.

Anyone have a suggestion to a really strong epoxy? I used some jb weld an it held up for a half day. I think my hip snap is whats causing all the stress on the rail

You cant go wrong with west systems gflex. i used it to fix a crack in a jackson fun ad its amazing. Make sure you sand the surfaces with 80 grit first. And flame treat.

If it doesn't need to flex you can also use the cheaper 2 part epoxy that comes in the plunger container where both sides come out the same Amount when you push the end.

I think I'm gonna give g flex a try.

I called dagger and since their rails are welded to the boat they said they don't have any idea of anything that will hold. I'm thinking theyre saying this because of liability issues.

Thanks man! That definitely makes me feel better about my purchase. It will be arriving next week and I will report back with my results.

I'm going to make a rig to really hold everything (and apply constant pressure) while its curing.
