Rowframe oars

Has anyone used the aluminum oars Gary builds? Always looking for different oar options. They look to be the 6061 1.5 IPS(1 7/8" OD?) he uses on his frames. Any comments on weight, durability, overall use or opinions?

P.S. Gonna hit the Main Payette Sunday if anyone in Boise is interested...

Very heavy, but virtually unbreakable. I sold mine, but they seemed nearly twice as heavy as my Cataracts of the same length. Gary's oars are counter balanced though.

There's varying opinions here, but I find cataract oars be be the shit. I have 11' SGX and 9 foot SGs, I have yet to break one myself, and only have seen 2 break.
