rescue vest's

What is everyone's favorite rescue vest ? I will be doing a lot of towing of an empty kayak filled with trash/litter as I am member of a non profit focused on cleaning trash out of waterways.

I am a fan of the Astral Green Jkt. The Stolquest and Kokotat are both very good too with nice features, but I like and use all three pockets of the Astral for very specific things.

Love my kokotat Ronin, liked my green vest too. If you wanted to save some money, you can just get tow tether without throwing down for the whole vest.

I would recommend a vest with zipper entry for convenience... I have an older astral rescue vest that is a pull over and I love it, but it can be a pain to remove after a long day.

I do the same but with the kokatat ronin. Very specific and more flotation for a bigger guy (6'3" 200 lbs) like myself

If you plan to do a lot of towing, you might think about an old-school tow rope to fairlead to camcleat on back deck. No pull on you and some might say it is safer. You will have to put a couple holes in your deck, though. I'm ok hooking a victim to my body, but not an empty boat full of trash

Good for you for helping with cleanup!

buckle placement

I like the looks of the ronin pro but what about the buckles being on top the shoulder will that hurt when caring your boat?
