remix question

Hey everyone,
I'm new to this forum, and kayaking in general, at least in terms of WW. I'm looking at the Remix for a first boat after doing some research on here and elsewhere. Question is, I'm 6'3 and roughly 210 lbs, size 11 shoe. Should
I be looking at the 69 or 79, or something else completely? I don't want to float in the kayak, nor do i want to be crammed into something uncomfortable.
Thanks for the input

I am guessing you will be 79 for sure with your size, but it has been a while since I sat in a remix - I know at 6'3" I definitely wanted the 79.

remix 79 is my recommendation

6ft 205 size 12 shoe

remix 79 works like a charm for me

No question about it, get a 79. I'm 6'-4" & no way could I paddle a 69. Granted I am 240lbs so my ass doesn't allow me to sit in the seat but that's another story.

The 79 will allow you to self support as heavy as you want.

Cool, thanks for the help. I figured I was up there in terms of height, etc. Definitely looking at the 79 then.

I'm 6'4" with size 10.5s and I'm in a 79, but I can just fit into the 69, but it ain't fun for long runs as it feel like a playboat. Floats a bit better as I only weigh in around 160 though.

At your size, I think you will find the Remix 79 a good fit. I also think you will enjoy the boat if you are relatively new to paddling and looking for a boat that is both stable and fun.

I recently wrote a review of the boat here if you are interested in more information: Liquidlogic Remix 79 | Blister Gear Review – Skis, Snowboards, Mountain Bikes, Climbing - The most honest, and in-depth reviews of ski, board, bike, and climbing equipment on the planet.

Good luck!

Great, glad it helped! You'll have fun out there with whichever boat you choose, but it sounds like the Remix 79 would be a great fit.
