Playboat for bigger paddler?

I'm from the UK and have been kayaking now for about a year. Currently I have a dagger GTX which is okay but I want to have a go at a playboat. I bought a robson redfred 2nd hand but being honest I'm a bit heavy for it.

I am 6ft, uk size 12 feet and weigh in at 15 1/2 stone (top heavy after a few too many years at the gym) what would you all recommend?

I'm not quite sure what 15 1/2 stone converts to in pounds...

You should try the Fluid Nemesis Large, really made for big and heavy guys.

6ft 217lbs is not that big, there are a lot of boats that will fit you. At that size you would fit in a Super Star, the big Project X, Large Molan, and a bunch of other boats. If you are looking to get into a playboat don't get a Fun or Super EZ, those are playful riverrunners. If you want to get into playboating get a full on playboat. The ZG was a good boat at it's time but there are much better options available for cheap now. The Project 64 would probably be a good boat for you. I would avoid the Nemesis Large at your size, it's a lot of boat and again you're not that big and heavy.
