PFD... which one?

I want to replace my old HIKO "cinch"...
I'm undecided between the PALM "Amp" and the YAK "escape"... which is better?
Can you tell me something about them?

Thanks

Perhaps if you gave us more to go on. Have you gone to the store and tried them on? Sometimes a choice like this comes down to personal preference, even price or color. I'm a rafter and I like PFD's with lots of buoyancy but I know kayakers that are more concerned about freedom of movement.

Your're right, I've badly explained....
I've tried them and they're both very comfortable... it is precisely for this reason that I'm undecided.
I want to buy the one that is manufactured with the best materials and that, therefore, will have a greater life-time.
It is for this reason that I'm interested in the opinion of who have them and can tell me the pros and cons of both.

Did you try paddling with them? Standing on the poopdeck, they probably both seem comfortable. But sitting in a boat with a constantly moving torso as you paddle, roll, etc, ought to clench it for you.
