patching at seams

I was looking for some advice on how to patch a difficult area on my raft. It is a late 80's riken (hypalon) that has one tube leaking in 2 spots - enough that I need to pump it up a couple time a day.

One is at the lower left corner seam around the D-ring patch....

and another at the seam of the strake, but I don't think underneath it. You can see the old glue from the bad patch I tore off...

Is it worth it to pull up the strake and D-ring to put the patch underneath it? I've done some successful patching in the past, but I'm thinking of paying a shop to do these repairs.
