Paddle for bad shoulder?

My right shoulder is jacked up from an old climbing injury (bursitis, impingement, etc). Wondering if a new paddle would help. Right now I use an AT flexi, wondering if something with smaller blades would relieve some shoulder stress?

both my shoulders are trashed, and I use a short (191) paddle with small blades, thinking it puts less torque on the shoulders.
