no it is to thin for fishing and terrrible boat now a days

[If i was you and i was trying to learn i would get a play boat. BUt play boat is terrible for fishing so why not get a creek boat and you could learn to kayak as well as have a decent fishing boat. I have caught fish in Tenn, out of my guss. But if you want to save money get an older creek boat that is very stable when you are in the flat water ..

mamba is not a bad boat. personally I would not buy an rpm cause I could never get comfy in it. if you can, then buy it, have fun.
