Narrowed down Kayaks, looking for final assistance

I've been kayaking recreationally for over 15 years, just by going out with friends using their kayaks doing small rivers & lakes.

I'm looking to purchase my own kayak now. The water I have the *most* access to are small rivers & lakes, but I do aspire to have more fun; I live relatively close to the ocean, and some whitewater (few hour drives in either direction).

I've been looking at cross overs, so that I can still recreationally paddle with my friends, and go on river camping trips. I believe that I have narrowed it down to the Pyranha Fusion M & Ethos 9.

I'm 5'8" 160lbs.

I'm looking for any advice you guys have to offer.

Thanks.

I guess to be more helpful, there are class I-III very close by. For much more I had to drive a few hours.

I've sat in both at a local store.

For the Ethos I am a big fan of the seat, and fit. I worry about the agility.

For the Fusion, I like the appeal of it being more agile, but worry about the tracking.

For both, I am curious which has the best flat performance.

Why not the LL XP9 or XP10?

Given a choice of all 3, I would take the LL any day and the Fluid Expedition over all others in the class. (The Fluid E you wouldn't want in your case.)

Based on what I've read with the LL XP, it seems like it's geared more for flat water than the other 2.

I tried out the ethos nine, and just picked up the pyranha fusion S to demo.

I hope to have a good feel for which I prefer from the demos.
