Haven't paddled the new Mamba. Have a stomper. Took me a little bit to figure out where I like the seat, but once I got that dialed in I found the boat very responsive. Resurfaces well, tracks well and rewards you when staying in a proactive position. Overall I really enjoy the boat. The outfitting is stellar.
My good buddy just got the new Mamba and swears it's the best thing since sliced bread! Don't think you could go wrong either way! Have fun!

I'm going with the LL. I just think that LL makes better boats from a construction perspective. I feel like Daggers have great designs but cheep out on construction. IE: plastic and outfitting!

Think I'm pretty centered. Probably should have left it alone from the factory. Moved it back a little to start based on recs from some folks. Didn't like it and moved it too far forward. When it was too far forward the front edges weren't treating me well. With it centered I feel like I maintain the best maneuverability while still being able to snap into the eddies when I engage the edges

Both great boats really!

I have paddled a little of each and I think I prefer the Mamba. The new outfitting is pretty good and it's a great boat.

Consider the Karma, it's probably one of the best if not the best big kayak I have ever paddled.
