Mamba Seat Storage Tray Removal

To all those Dagger boaters who love their boats but find erroneous hardware rolling around in there....
I found a washer and bolt in my 2012 Mamba Creeker, and determined it was from the single attachment point for the storage tray. Since I do not use the thing...
I loosened up the whole seat slider and wiggled it out. Tightened it back up and put some foam under the seat and spine to prevent oil canning.
It turned out really nice and I dropped 1 lb 4 oz off the weight and cleaned up the outfitting a bit. Nice!

Dagger have done just the same for 2016. I'd be interested in some details/images to create an article on www.unsponsored.co.uk. Wavesport and Dagger owners will probably be very interested.

The bolt probably could be turned and removed from the top, accessed underneath the seat. Once out, the tray is very loose and can be removed once the 5 seat adjustment screws are loosened and the seat in about the middle of the track and loose. No need to completely remove any seat adjustment bolts, so don't go too far. Here are some pictures. The foam under the seat spine helps prevent oil canning.
