Jackson Super-Fun vs. Mon-Star

Any big playboaters out there have any suggestions on which one of these two I should get?

It all comes down to what you want to use the boat for and how good your skills are. The Monstar is a better playboat, the SuperFun is a better river runner. There are many that run class III/IV in their ......Stars and do just fine, so it really depends on your comfort level and what you'll be using the boat for most of time. Are you going to park and play, or run and play?

If I lived closer to a playpark (ie. BV) I would have a Monstar. The boat is so much fun! But since I don't I prefer the SuperFun since it's a great river runner and offers plenty of play for me at 250lbs.

I've owned both and its a easy decision for me, Monstar all the way. I learned how to paddle in the superfun and its a great boat but after a couple months you will wish you had the Monstar. I don't see the superfun having much of an advantage over the Monstar when it comes to river running. The Monstar has a huge advantage over the superfun when it comes to playboating.

The Monstar is not your average playboat, its 72-3/4 gallons and river runs very very well.

I'm 6'3 315lbs, i've tried both boats.

I like what fatmanz said.

I prefer the super fun to the mon-star over all. I also prefer river/play vers. playpark play and can run harder rapids more comfortably in the super fun.

I am a bit bigger than most and never stood a chance at a loop with an overthruster on either boat

so i got the brand new, top secret, fat shit, huDge loop, dope props super hero for my phonix monkeys and MONSTER LOOPS!

i could stand to lose a few pounds
