IK Paddle - low/high angle?

We're adding IKs to the family fleet and I see paddles generally fall into high or low angle .
Which is preferred for general (Class II - III) use?
Class IV different?

Well since Iks are pretty wide a lower angle paddle be nice for cruising but if you want whitewater a higher angle blade be more your style... The Werner coryvrecken woul be good choice set up for more of touring paddle designed for the whitewater paddler. Good choice. Low angle paddles are good for wider crafts so you don't reach out over the side.

Both AT and Werner touring paddles are pretty light weight, I would really worry about breaking them. My wife IKs and we ended up getting a 200cm Werner Player Straight shaft. Makes a pretty sweet IK paddle and won't break the bank. Plus you can sell it to a creeker if need be.
