How many kayaks will fit on 48 in crossbars?

I have a toyota 4runner and it has 48in yakima crossbars. i just bought the thule stacker and i was wondering how many kayaks will fit up there?

4 will be easy, 5 or 6 with a little trust in the straps, and 7 or more with tequila addled imagination.

it's not the length of the bars on the car..... as my wife would say, it's how you run the strap.

That is just ridiculous...well done Count RIP .How much weight can a normal car roof support before it caves in ? or tears the towers/bars off?Talk about a yard sale ,picture a failure doing about 60 on the interstate.
