Home Made River Table

I wanted a good river table and thought I could make my own without the big price tag. It's 72" x 18" to match my frame and cary my rocket boxes.

All in the table cost about $100 to make, all from the local hardware store. 1/2" galvanized pipe for legs and a 3/4" plywood deck and. It's painted with a do it yourself truck bed liner. A little heavy compared to the aluminum alternative but is plenty sturdy and should make a good deck for the cat.

Happy Boating.

Looks great. I am starting no my own home made table. I have not thought about the truckbed liner, might have have to consider that. I might pick a lighter color, but I like the concepts.

While looking online I found a good textured polyurethane paint called grizzly grip which you can get in a lot different colors, but i stuck with the cheeper option of the Herculiner from Napa.

I used formica with an oak self edge The counter top material is cheap and very easy to clean without bacteria issues. The legs are made from old folding table that I cut & welded to the size for self storeing. The table legs come with the lock to keep the table stable without staps. Total cost was about 50 bucks!

Table pics. The knobs thread into stainless steel inserts installed in the top before the formica was glued down, they hold the legs under the top.
