groover for kayak self-support?

anybody have ideas for a rig to carry 8-9 days worth of kayaker poo and that would be approved of by a canadian ranger? best i've come up with so far is a pvc tube and steady aim, but sounds messy at best...

i imagine this has come up before, so if there's an old thread, please point me in its direction.

Wag bags or the PETT system.

Cleanwaste WAG Bags

Don't know if it is ranger approved. Check and find out.

Self-Support Groover

We run tandem duckies, so obviously a little more room, but heres what we do...

A large plastic mayo jar from a deli counter or bulk food store inside an old designated dry bag.

down here in Utah we put the mayo jar in a rocket box, but I beleive a dry bag would work as long ad the waste is in a sealable container...inside a container.

Hope it helps, good luck with that poo.

LL guys rigged up PVC tubes for a grand canyon self support trip. They had some blog and video posts about it.

put a paper towel (brawny?) on the ground. do the deed. pick up the paper towel by the corners, drop in a ziplok and put in the pvc tube. wash your hands.
No need to rely on aim!

It's true! He then eats the contents so he does not even need a cooler.
