Gluing gaskets

My drysuit neck gasket got a hole (not a rip) in it. It looks like I should just be able to but some aqua seal on either side or maybe put a patch piece of rubber on it like a bike patch. I dont want to replace the original gasket if i dont have to. Anybody got a recommendation?

If it's got a hole, chances are the latex is getting old, and a tear is just waiting to happen. Replace them now before the season gets busy.
