Getting back into kayaking

Hello all,
I am returning to kayaking.
When I was in college, I was in a club so I didn't need to buy any supplies.

I am going to be doing more sea kayak/touring instead of whitewater.

I have a pretty cheap 180cm paddle ( Im short just 5ft ) that I use with my Jackson 2Fun and Rapid Fire, but I will be using a Wilderness Systems Sealoutions kayak so would this be too short?
Also What kind of airbags should I get?

I'm going to be kayaking on the Hudson River and maybe Long Island Sound.

I am lucky that my skirt fits all the kayaks.

Thanks for your input

Yes... way too short. Your paddle length will be determined my your boat's width, your build, how high you sit in the boat, how vertical your shaft is on a forward stroke and your cadence
