Float Bags

While running Foxton this week-end I tried to help push a swamped kayak to the side after the paddler swam. I did manage to atleast get the boat to pin on a rock due to my line of site being blocked by another paddler. Which didn't turn out so well for me. Caused me to flip and take a beating on some rocks, no swim from me though. Then later in the day on Foxton I came across another pinned boat just up river from the first one. Neither boat had float bags in the stern. So they were completely swamped.

If you are going to boat above your skill level atleast help out your fellow paddlers and acquire float bags for the stern of your kayak. Pushing a half swamped boat is easier than a fully swamped boat.
