Ethics, buying a demo boat

I bought a boat a while back that had a 'demo' stamp in it. New to kayaking, my first boat (the first boat I found that my 6'5" frame could fit into), and the price was in my range so I bought it.

Now I am looking to buy a different style of boat, and sell my old one.

So how does the ethics work here? Is it right to sell/ buy a demo boat? Does anyone really care, or is this a major no-no?

Just want to see how everyone honestly looks at this issue.

At the end of the season the shops sell their demo fleets and that is how the demo boats get into circulation. I don't think there is anything wrong about buying / selling a demo boat. My first boat had a demo stamp on it and it was still in great shape and I sold it without a problem. If someone is going to buy the boat they aren't going to change their mind becuase it has a demo stamp in it, they will buy it becuase the style and shape it is in.

I didn't realize that the demo boats were sold at the end of the season. Thanks!
