dry top modification

I just bought a peakuk freeride long, fits like a glove. The only problem I have with it is the latex cuffs on the wrists, they are really tight. Is there a way to trim them? I think if i were to paddle with it longer than a half an hour my hands would fall off.

You could also try leaving them on one liter bottles or something similar to stretch them out.

I second Dave's advice, before every cutting them make sure to try various stretching options and for long times. I left a bowl in my neck gasket for almost a month in non-boating season and it helped a ton. Have replaced a gasket before due to taking too much off so consider that the last resort IMHO.

dapper15. I'm with you. They're brutal.

I attempted to stretch them over flower pots. Still too tight... The problem is they're too long. I put them on the flower pot inside out and trimmed them.

I paddled 30 or so days this season before trimming them.
