Dry suit

This is my first year to do some winter surfing in Lake Michigan. I need a dry suit, any suggestions?

I agree with freexbiker, but if you want to go cheaper I have really liked my NRS Mission eVent dry suit. It's bone dry, breathes better than Gore Tex, and seems to be well built. I'm only one season into it so I can't vouch for the durability, but NRS will replace anything so if it were to have problems you should be fine.

Oh, and it's on sale, under $600.

I just bought a new drysuit and haven't gotten around to selling my old one yet. Gently used NRS Extreme Relief XXl. PM me if you're interested.

If you kayak you're going to want a tunnel so water doesn't come in the top of your skirt.

I had a Stholquist, which I liked, and it lasted me about 4 years. I switched to a Kokatat GMER, and love it.

You can't beat the Kokatat GMER. Have had one now for about 6 months and have been kayaking every weekend in it. Take care of it, especially the zippers and gaskets, and it should last for years. Being here in the PNW, its definitely a neccessity with the cold water. If you gonna buy one, get the Kokatat. Enough said.

kokatat T3 Meridian Dry Suit if you want to save a little money. It's served me well so far paddlin in the winter here in Idaho. I would have loved to have the GoreTex, but couldn't quite shell out the cash for that.
