Creeker advice after Remix

Hey all. I've been a disciple of the Remix 79 and displacement hulls for 3 years but recently tried a buddy's 9R and loved it. So I'm considering going to a combo hull like most of the new boats have these days. 9R, Mamba, Toro, Zen, etc. What i do not like is the Burn.
I was first in a Jefe and enjoyed it but ultimately like many, found it was difficult to stay on line and slow. Nomad, ditto.

1. Experiment with the Remix outfitting & sharpen technique. Advice on how to drive it better? For instance I found the Nomad particularly sluggish if I didn't drive it from the front.
2. Does the Flying Squirrel have some edge to it like the Toro, Mamba, and 9R? I almost never see it out here in Utah and up at the Payettes in Idaho. I figure that's simply a distribution thing. Reviews here say it's fast.
3. I love a boat that's faster than normal. I'd grade a Mamba at normal from what I hear of it but correct me if I'm wrong. The 9R was a hoot being so fast. What else is like this?

I see lots of Squirrels on the Payettes; I haven't paddled so I can't comment.

I see less 9Rs here for sure.

Right now the popular boats in Idaho are the Zets and the Zens.

What don't you like about the burn that you liked about the 9r?

Just stick with the Remix, just as fast as the 9R and the outfitting doesn't suck ass like Pyranha's...
