Clothing for Ducky

Just starting out with an Inflatable Ducky. I'm wondering what clothing gear I should get for some easier nice weather trips to start out with? I've been looking at hydroskin shorts or pants, splash jackets, booties, etc. Any help would be great!

Honestly, you'll probably end up using all those things. I would start with neoprene.

I have usually ended up wearing a Farmer John wetsuit. Depending on your ducky, you may end up sitting in a little water and the splashes on your legs can be brisk without this layer. I have also felt that I like the protection against cold and abrasions when I take a swim. If it is a little colder, a splash jacket or dry top over the wetsuit worked well. On my feet, I have worn booties or sandals depending on the temp. Safe paddling.

Becasue foot room is not an issue, and becasue my Keene's offer good support and protection (closed toe), I have been wearing neoprene socks under Keene's. Farmer John is pretty standard (short ones can work depending on the weather).
