Cameras: GoPro vs. Contour

Looking for some comparisons (besides price)... along with any ideas of other camera make/models for whitewater rafting. Both GoPro & Contour have multiple mounting options, but beyond that, are there any distinct features that put one above the other?

I'm a fan of the GoPro's 720p x 60 fps mode. Much of what we do as kayakers is quick motions and it is easier to analyze at half speed.

Also note you need at least Windows 7 with Windows Movie Maker, or an aftermarket video editing software to edit footage.

I really like the positive on off switch on the contour. My go pro is kind of hard to manage on the helmet and with gloves.

GoPros are superior in terms of the quality of video you will get..

Contours look more aerodynamic and cooler but from what I've heard, they are inferior in every department.

Delkin Wingman?

Anybody have experience with this one?
I just got one as a gift, and need to do some research to see if I want to keep it or swap for the apparent market leader GoPro.
thx

I have both, the contour is better hands down in every category. Footage looks better and it's more user friendly (easier to turn on, adjustable angle lens, gps feature, etc).

Swann freestyle?

Has any tried the Swann Freestyle? Its shown up on woot a couple of times recently and it looks to be about 1/2 or less the $$ of gopros. I wouldn't expect it to be quite as good, but does it do a decent job?

Thanks

One other major consideration is the computer that you are going to use to edit the film. These files are amongst the most compute intensive things people commonly ask their PCs to do. Having a newer and more powerful computer will help things along. I would expect a 5 year old PC to choke.
