cam strap opinions

I decided to replace the straps on Supercat and wondered what opinions people have of all the choices for cam straps. I like to use 2" straps on the front and back of the frame and not everyone offers those. Most of my straps currently are NRS and they seem decent, although some of the newer one seem to slip more than older ones. Has the quality changed; can I do better?

The newer NRS straps I have are thinner, slicker material than my other straps. I haven't had slippage issues, and I like 'em because it's easier to thread 'em thru the buckle. Why 2"? Seems like serious overkill to me.

The teeth on the buckles are smaller since they are no longer Ancra. I wasn't sure if the material was different or if my older ones just "seemed" softer. I like the 2" strap because they are located on the tubes beyond the frame and I hoped they would stay tighter. Probably slippage comes mostly from trailering.

4 CORNERS

We use the color coordinated straps from 4 Corners in Durango. They have always worked well for us. I beleive they are the slimmer ones, not 2 inch, but have worked well for our purposes. The NRS ones work great too, but for us it is nice knowing that a certain color is a certain lenght...makes rigging a bit easier.

I have tried all the big company straps and went back to NRS. I tried to do color coding, but it didn't work out for me. Plus the straps from none NRS companies tended to fall apart slowly from sun and water exposure. I bought all NRS straps, wrote sizes in per marker and used stamping tool to stamp the size on the bucket. Works really well for me. I also tend to keep all the same sizes bunched together on a single strap of the same size.
