Boat Project: Done!

After a long winter of tinkering, I think I've finally got my 13 footer and it's trailer where I want it! Thanks for all the advice and inspiration!

I see I'm not the only one who has done a mod on the pelican case so that you can strap it securely to the side platform. Works great and leaves the pelican easy to open to grab my camera. I also have he NRS side rail racks....love them. Interesting foot bar set-up. Nice looking rig. Have a great summer.

Yeah, I learned that Peli case trick from a local shop - Works great!

The footbar is the result of some left over parts and being unwilling to spend the coin on something else - Works like a charm!

You have a great summer as well!

Have fun on the John Day, I typically float the North Fork John Day Memorial Day Weekend. This year we are mixing it up and running the Grande Ronde.

We are doing the Lower Salmon June 30 to July 4, PM me if you are interested.

I did make the umbrella holder. It's hell for stout, cheap, and was super easy to build.
