Dagger nomad has been solid for many people. The Jackson villain or karma are great choices as well.

There are many euro company's making there way to the state as well.

I have the least experience with wave sport or pyrahna, some one else could speak about those.

I bought a Jackson Rocker last year, got my roll down and ran a couple class II trips on the Colorado. I like it.

All the new creek boats are good. I don't think you can buy a bad creekboat regardless of company. If you are new you don't really know what you like - you can hop in any boat and your style will adapt to it. I would find a used creekboat at a good price and go for it.
