any disadvantages to a zero degree paddle

I have demo'ed a zero degree paddle and like it, I can see some advantages to it. But I don't have much river running time using one. Are there any real disadvantages to it when it comes to river running or any disadvantages to having no feather in general. I realize most of this is personal choice but I'm just curious on others opinions. Thank you

long paddle outs on flatwater in headwinds are a bit annoying with 0 degree paddles..... not a big problem usually
