Looks like an awesome boat! I'm still not sold on the rope and cleat backband system for a creekboat though... I'd like to know what the general consensus is of this.

I have never had a rope slip out of the cleat in either playboats or creekboats. You are generally exerting more force on the cleats in a playboat. I have had ratchets slip before in playboats but it's super rare. I just replaced the rope in my Rock Star after 1.5 years of use which is the same amount of time it took for the webbing to wear through and break in my Project X.
