A bit obscure...but looking for Riot Hammer...

This may be better in the classifieds but I haven't had much luck with searches so wanna see if someone has one of these sitting in a shed or something.

So, its a bit obscure, but I'm hoping to get my hands on a Riot Hammer kayak. Don't wanna spend much though. Hopefully someone has one sort of close to Colorado.

I had one for a little while and did my first ever run down Gore Canyon in it. I think its an ideal Grand Canyon boat, and that is my primary reason for wanting one again. I cracked the hull, did my best to weld it despite the crosslink plastic, and ended up "Donating" it to the CU kayak club when I moved away for a few years.

Prefer to just take it off your hands in exchange for a case of beer or something. I'd buy it off ya too, but hoping to keep it cheap. Let me know if you have a line on one.

Thanks for the PM Nathan. Borrowing one sounds great for a trip or two, but I still want my own again so I'm still on the hunt.

I'd like to take you up on this Tony. Not sure when I can get down to the Durango area though. I'll try and give you a call in the next few days.

Here are a couple pictures of Tony's Hammer.

We can get the boat to the Front Range around Thanksgiving if you want to pitch some gas money.

Cool... looks great and I'll definitely take it. I'd be happy to throw $20 towards gas on top of the $100 for the boat if someone wants to bring it for me. Certainly beats a 12 hour round trip.

Any idea which seat it has? Hopefully not the "Powerseat" since I'm pretty sure I won't fit in it (that was designed for Corran Addison size people and I'm certainly not that).

I think I can make that work. Consider it sold. I'll send you a PM to figure out how to get it paid for.

Cheers,

Josh
