2fun or fun ??

I weigh 130-135 lbs and 5'7'' and dont plan on weighing more than 140 when I'm still using this boat. I've been thinking about this for a while and know that I probally should go demo both but I would still love to hear some of your opinions as well. I also am looking at trying out the CR.

Thanks

Sounds like you want it more for river running if you are comparing it with the CR. If so, you might go larger for more volume and stability. If you want it more for play, you might want to go smaller. You are right on to demo both tho. Have fun.

I am 5'7" and 140 and I have a Fun. I use it on class III runs. I find it stable, predictable, and playful. I sat in the smaller boat and it felt too cramped for me. I'd go with the Fun if I were you.

Yeah after thinking about how much more river running / playboating I'll be doing I've decided the fun will be perfect, thanks for the input!

If you are looking at the classic fun series, definitely the fun. I'm 5'6", ~140 lbs (depending on the week), and by the time 3 hrs is up I was in pain. On the other hand, I just looked and tried the redesigned fun (2007 and up), and the Fun is waay too big. I'm all for comfy, but I felt like I was "swimming" (for lack of a better term) in the thing. Disclaimer, I'm a newbie, but thought I should tell you my personal experience considering the similar weight class. Good luck.
