2014 Burn vs Shiva for creeking?

Ok, just cracked my 2011 Burn. I own both the Burn I and II, Love them. Best boat ever for me. I hear the new version is even better.

Tested the shiva last summer, excellent. I want one.

Need a new boat come January, so which do I go with? If I had the money, I would get both. That wont happen for a while.

Thoughts on either? No, I don't want info on any other kind of boat, I'm not interested. Class IV and V creeking. Everything from Bailey, OBJ, Big south, SSV, Punchbowls, WA creeks, great falls, Beaver/Moose, ect.

I'm in the Northeast for the next yr or two. Shallow sharp stuff out here for steep creeks, lots of water for other stuff. Waiting on rain.

Love my shiva only issue is with the reinforced plastic it's super heavy. I would be interested to see if the new burn has the same plastic and is heavier then the older ones because if it.

Depends on if you want to keep the planing hull you are familiar with or go rounder. This is pretty good and should help you if you haven't already seen it: The 2014 Pyranha Burn Review With Dave Fusilli

So I'm partial to the Shiva because I have one and love it. I got one brand new on the market and never looked back. I think ACC is on the right track. The Burn will do better in bigger pushy water because the harder edges will come into play. The Shiva is better and more predictable in mankier, steeper stuff as the less aggressive chines make for softer landing and way smoother bouncing over rocks. Also, the thing auto-boofs like a dream.

I love that Rasta color!!! I don't think they're making an XL for the new burn. Just the traditional S, M, L sizes.

Hey, what size are people using for Shiva's. I am 185 pounds and use a medium but just picked up a large which seems quicker .... thoughts.
