2 piece paddles sticking

I have a Warner carbon fiber 2 piece paddle that is difficult to pull apart after use. Anyone have the same issue and a possible fix?

you want to use a number 2 pencil on the male end.

take a pencil and scrub it along the male end untill all parts are covered in the graphite.

graphite is a dry lubricant used in situations like yours.

It works well on our break downs.

Sounds like a good start. Have you tried powered graphite lubricant?
