Yep. End of April, early May is the best time to run Deso. I'd rather be a little cold or wet, than eaten alive by mosquitos.
Canyon Sailor 105 - 36 X 19.25 X 16 overall size. Under the lip/latches/hinge is 35.5 X 18 X 12. A great medium sized cooler. I'd keep checking on the website or call Jason to see if this cooler will be back in stock.

Will the Canyon Prospector sit on the rails of a NRS frame on a 14' or 15' Vanguard SB? My calculations are 12" from the floor to the top of the rail, so on paper it seems like it will not rest on the rails.

Is that 12 in your garage or boat fully loaded in the water? You may not even have 12. One of the downsides of the Vang is that thick ass floor in regards to storage. That said Id probably wedge it in there and try it. I have the old style NRS cooler mounts in my 14 vanguard which I believe are 11 drop and they rub on the floor. Really though with that floor being so thick I dont think its an issue to put weight down on it, you arent going to get a pinch leak. Its either that or have it sticking up since its so shallow. My yeti is kinda tall but I have a bench in front of it. I've never suspended my rear cargo either. Just crank it all down under a king sling.

A fellow Buzzard had their raft inflated on a trailer and I got the measurement from him. He has a foot bar that is only about 1" above the floor and he said that the space does not decrease by much at all and there is no rubbing. I will be pulling mine out this weekend to get some exact measurements. Do you have any space under your NRS mounts when not on the water? The old posts indicate that the old Sailor had a 12" depth and it fit fine. I would not mind it touching the floor, but I don't want to crank it down 2.75" into the floor to utilize the Prospector strapping attachments. Wouldn't that cause some extra stress on the D-Rings for frame attachment? I would like to have the top of the cooler as low as possible to be able to see around a passenger sitting on top of it.

I just noticed this original thread was posted in the Kayaking forum, can anyone move it to Rafting?

IDK, the nrs foot bar only has an 8"drop. I don't pay that much attention, just saying that each boat has a little variation. Sounds like you are going to need to find a smaller cooler. Unless you are sitting way up high on a captains chair you are always looking around the passengers, a couple inches one way or the other isn't going to make a difference. They won't be short/low enough to look over them unless they are down in the bow.
