Strainer on San Rafael River

From the UtahRafters email list. I have no details on this other than what I'm passing on third or fourth hand. -AH

Subject: [utahrafters] Strainer on San Rafael River

The BLM today received a report from a boater that a cottonwood tree has fallen across the river about 3-4 miles downstream of the Fuller Bottom launch site. Carbon Rec will have a guide go check it out tomorrow and I'll report as soon as he gets back to civilization.

San Rafael strainer not so bad at current levels...

Floated the San Rafael this past weekend. Current levels make it easy to get past the strainer through the willows on river right...see pic!
