Subject: Large Section of Chain Link Fence in the River Section 5 Royal Gorge
After last nights heavy rain, a large section of chain link fence has ended up in the river in the Royal Gorge Narrows section.
Between the 3rd and 4th drop in the Narrows river left, you may see the fence but my understanding is that it is avoidable.
River Rangers are putting on to evaluate, but please advise any of your Royal Gorge Trips of the possible hazard.
If any of your staff can take pictures to share, it would be most helpful to determine the size and location for removal.
Thank you and boat with care, John
