Metal hazzard in SSV

I am not sure if this has been discussed, but it is not the road sign DSP posted about last week.

This is a one inch thick steel bar, shaped like a rainbow over the current.

avoid it on the left or a thin line on the right, but this would pin you beyond belief.

It is about 1/2 mile above the narrows. If you park at the top of the two pullouts above the narrows, it is a 200 yard walk.

SY tried to get this at low water and it is well anchored. Maybe someone with a winch could give it a try. It is in a spot we could wade out to at present flows. you would need road flaggers to do so. Not a weekend high traffic activity.
