Log in the S turns, Eagle River

As of 6 pm Tuesday there was a huge Spruce tree lying parallel to the current, in the main flow, just upstream from the bridge and pipe. This is about halfway between Meadow Mountain business park and the Forest Service parking area. It is briefly visible from Highway 24, but probably worth checking out from river right before launching.

Taken care of

With the help of Darren from the West Vail Shell and his tow truck we were able to take care of this hazard. Thanks also to the Timberline guides that helped with this.
