Hey River Rats, many of you already know this - but just a reminder that Eagle County Open Space built a new boat launch facility about 12 miles upriver from Dotsero last September. It is called the Horse Creek River Access and is located at the southern end of Colorado River Ranch.

The driveway is only one lane under the railroad, so please enter and exit slowly. The land acquisition effort was completed through a partnership between Eagle County Open Space, The Conservation Fund, Great Outdoors Colorado and Colorado Open Lands.
Unlike many of our other sites, Horse Creek is not managed jointly with BLM, so please help us keep the property clean by picking up after yourselves (and others
