On Tuesday, May 8, Road and Bridge crews from Eagle County will work on the Dowd Junction section of trail approximately 350-400 feet west of the trail bridge over the Eagle River.
Work will occur to stabilize a land slump adjacent to the trail.
Traffic control will be in place to detour trail users or escort them through the work zone.
A spotter will also be in place on the Eagle River trail bridge looking for river users. Work will stop when boaters when boaters are below the work zone, which is approximately 350 feet downstream of the bridge. Boaters, please be aware of the work zone above you.
The work is expected to be complete by end of day May 9th.
